Day 1:
Depart USA gateway airport on overnight flight to Budapest, In-flight dinner and breakfast served by the carrier.
Day 2:
Arrive in Budapest, transfer to the Hotel Benta. Sightseeing gothic Parliament, River Danube Margaret Bridge, Royal Castle on the Buda side, Fishermen's Bastion (promenade) Matthias Church, Gellert Hill, Elisabeth-Bridge, Heroes Square, Opera and St. Stephen's Basilica, the jewels of Andrassy Square, Capistrano Square… Dinner and overnight.
Day 3:
Breakfast at the Hotel Benta - Walking tour to the Vorosmarty Square (Gerbeaud Coffeehouse), State Opera House (interior visit), Andrassy Street passing by - Hungarian Broadway, Kodaly Korond, metro to Heroes Square - Szecheny Spa – City Park, Vajdahunyad Castle (interior visit) - Millennium Underground metro to Hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 4:
Breakfast at the Hotel Benta. Drive to Szentendre (nostalgic site), since the 1700's Szentendre is the center of the Serbs; The Belgrade Church; Blagovestenska Church; Serbian School; Treasure Diocese of Budim, Hungarian National wine Museum set up in an ancient wine cellar below the level of the Danube – Travel to Becej (Vojvodina – Serbia) sites at the crossing of important roads, and due to frequent migrations during its troubled past, many nationalities, cultures and religions mixed in. Dinner and overnight at the Hotel Fantast in Becej.
Day 5:
Breakfast at the hotel-castle Dundjerski family. Plenty of time for sightseeing and riding around the Castle. Visit the Novi Sad, Saborna Church, Episcopal Palace, Matica Srpska, Jova Jovanovic Zmaj - City Hall (neo-renaissance); Liberty Square; Petrovaradin Fortress; Sremski Karlovci, Old Patriarchy SOC, birthplace of Russian Orthodox Church Abroad. Wine testing with snack at the biggest cellar-mine in S.Karlovci. Dinner and overnight at the Hotel Fantast.
Day 6:
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to National Park Fruska Gora the verdant island of the Panonian Sea and the Serb Mount Athos, devoted to the guarding of dozens of monasteries and 700 species of medical herbs. Visit Novo Hopovo and Krusedol Monastery. Drive to Zemun sightseeing Old City on the bank of river Danube, Gardos, Marina. Hotel Royal dinner and overnight.
Day 7:
Breakfast at the Hotel Royal – Walking tour Belgrade fortress, Kalemegdan is one of the most fascinating points on the sacral and secular geography of Eurasia. Romans built the first fortress about one hundred years before Christ. Today Kalemegdan is the largest and most beautiful park and a cultural and historical complex. Afternoon, shopping area Knez Mihalova Street, Serbian Academy of Science and Arts, Student’ s Square National Museum & Theatre, Parliament House, Royal Palace. Evening, visit performance at National Opera and Balet House. Dinner and overnight at the Hotel Royal.
Day 8:
Breakfast at the Hotel Royal. Drive to Kosmaj and Oplenac, northern part of Sumadija to the small town of Topola. Here we'll see the mausoleum church of St. George, filled with beautiful mosaic frescoes from Serbian monasteries. Visit on of the famous King's Cellar at the Royal Vineyard (testing vine & prosciutto) - back to Belgrade. Dinner and overnight at the Hotel Royal.
Day 9:
Breakfast at the Hotel Royal – Complex King's Palaces and Church at Dedinje Hill, the White palace is the newest residence of the Karadjordjevic dynasty, built in 1934 by the order of King Alexandar – Topcider is the oldest park in Serbia (Turkish origin and it means “valley of the gunners”, we'll visit Prince Milos’s Palace, Church of the Apostle St. Peter and Paul - Vracar plato with St. Sava Cathedral (one of the largest orthodox cathedrals in the world) –Tasmajdan park with St. Mark's Church, Russian Church. Bohemian part Skadarlija, the famous writers, actors, painters and journalists used to live here, farewell dinner with live music in one of the famous restaurant. Overnight at the Hotel Royal.
Day 10:
Breakfast at the Hotel Royal - Transfer to Airport Nikola Tesla – flight to USA.
